I think part of it is that I finally caved and downloaded Student Transfer... and it’s amazing! I know this is probably super basic stuff for many of you, but I’ve always had relatively little faith in TG stories, as I personally find them very long winded compared to the amount of actual good ideas that they have inside. But I was surprised – this game has a decent amount of complete (and some lengthy incomplete) routes which are full of really good scenes, and stay interesting throughout. The “Monitor” route in particular absolutely wowed me!
And a little about myself, ‘cause I want to be a little pretentious and pretend that I’m a writer or something. Not really though, if I was good I would want to be like a Yoko Taro and hide behind a moon-looking guy thing, so people wouldn’t have to think about the guy behind the sexy depression robot girl. I’ve always admired the idea of the anonymous internet creator. My favorite stories of all time are Austraeoh and The End of Ponies, both by shortskirtsandexplosions (seasons 1 and 2 of My Little Pony needed as they’re fanfics). I haven’t touched them nor read anything at all (except visual novels) in ages though. To me, nothing else even compares, as silly as that might sound.
And I know this makes me SO unique, but I also love anime, especially the ones with, uh, cute anime girls. My favorite anime are probably Hidamari Sketch, Railgun, and Saki (the cute girls playing mahjong anime, which is also a trashy fanservice show). I do watch a decent amount of seasonals, but usually not the most popular ones, ‘cause I’m a contrarian like that. A few that I followed along with that I’d like to shout out are Super Cub, Akebi-chan no Sailor Fuku, Ruri Rocks, and of course Onimai. And right now I’m watching Yama no Susume, and it’s probably gonna end up on my favorites list, because it’s PEAK.
In case there’s anyone who missed it and likes my caps, don't miss my old cap “No F1rst K1ss” that went poof a while ago. https://sayonaraxsunshine.blogspot.com/2023/07/no-first-kiss.html
